Dr. Timothy W. Jackson
Pastor Jackson surrendered to preach at the age of twelve. After eight years as an assistant pastor in Saginaw, he and his family planted Community Baptist Church in the Lansing area in November of 1990, and he has pastored it ever since.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida, and a Doctorate in Divinity from Faithway Baptist College in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He also studied at Providence Baptist College and Clearwater Christian College.
He was married to Wendy (Kimball) for over thirty-eight years, until her death from brain cancer in May of 2018. They have two sons, Jon and Joe, and nine grandchildren.
Pastor Jackson is a SYMBIS certified Marriage Facilitator, Counselor, and Marriage Mentor. He loves preaching, discipleship, evangelism, and counseling, and he never stops learning Scripture.
Outside the church you will find him reading, spending time with family, working on the house, or outdoors. He lives in Delta Township.
